EverQuest 2 does Guild Management Right

Guild Leader FerrelAt Dragon*Con I had the opportunity to spend some time with Ashlanne, Brenlo and several members of the SOE community staff. Not only were they super kind to me, they also reminded me just how much I love SOE games (well, mostly just EverQuests). Upon my return I fired up my PC, purchased the “all in one” EQ2 package and renewed my subscription post haste (Companies still seem to undervalue how much awesome community staffers affect players). I’m still collecting my thoughts on the game and new content but I wanted to discuss just how great the guild management tools are.

Reflections on Dragon*Con

Guild Leader FerrelThere is always something refreshing about hanging out with a lot of people who like the same things you do. So, to say I had a great time at Dragon*Con would be an understatement! I had the opportunity to meet with both MMO players and industry folks and that is never a bad thing. Despite our little Con in Atlanta not being one of the big “MMO Cons,” we still received some very interesting information! I want to share with you what was shared with me and then thank some of the wonderful people I met.
