Iniquity, back in action

EQ2 Iniquity LogoWhen I returned to EverQuest II I wasn’t certain what my plans were. We had our guild tag still. The Iniquity name was too precious to simply let go. We also didn’t want to tarnish all the work we had done years before. It was a sticky situation and one we navigated very carefully. In the six or so months that we’ve been back we’ve achieved a lot with a terribly small group of people. With a taste of success on our tongue we’re looking to move forwards.

Iniquity has gotten by with two groups for a while now. We’ve managed to kill more than we should be able to. Eventually you reach a point where you can no longer progress simply because you don’t have enough bodies and do not have access to the gear necessary to “over power” the encounters. We’re ready to get back into the saddle and truly raid again. We need your help.

Who are we?

Iniquity was the premier raid guild on Oasis from Classic until the launch of Fallen Destiny. We had a knack for defeating contested mobs and actually competed world wide. In Fallen Destiny due to rather extreme real life pressures on many of our core members we retired in mass. The guild was closed and put under glass. That is who we were.

These days we have the same spirit we did way back when. Our core is not dissimilar from the original Iniquity core. Many of the faces are the same. The only difference is that we’re a bit older now. Our guild is made of up professionals, parents and other busy people. We cannot commit to the hardcore lifestyle any longer. We also cannot accept playing poorly and do our best to play skillfully.

When do we raid?

We raid very consistently on Wednesday and Saturday. We generally start around 7 pm EST but that time does vary. Sometimes we start at 6 pm and others at 9. This is always announced in advance. Rarely we add a third raid day in. We usually stop around 11 pm EST.

Who do we want?

We want players who are looking for a casual raid pace. Players who can learn to be more skillful and aren’t afraid to die to new content consistently. We are progression oriented and need like minded individuals. If you’re looking to join and immediately get easy loot we’re not for you.

What do you get?

We are immediately inclusive. We have no official recruitment policy. If you join you’re in. We hope you integrate quickly. You’ll have equal loot rights, willing mentors, and a bunch of rather random and humorous folks. We don’t take ourselves too seriously!

What is the catch?

We’re in a building mode. If you join now you’re getting in on the ground floor. We can kill a few mobs in most raid zones but we have a lot to go. Adding bodies will yield immediate results. You might have to wait for some success though.

How to apply?

Send a tell in game to Ferrel, Dresden, or Starla/Depain. We’re on the Oasis server. Talk to us and we’ll see if we can meet your needs.

    Hello

Would you take an new toon just starting on Oasis or would they have to be an high level toon that moves to Oasis ??

It’s been awhile and I have had a major itch to get back into the game pretty severely lately… The current MMO market is pretty barren and I just can’t get my fix with simple FPS XBox games. Barring any SoE ridiculous pricing on he expansions since Fallen Destiny I might take the plunge back into the game. I believe Ranzal is 70 still (can’t remember the cap at the time) and I have Laznar (my Paladin) at like 60ish. Hopefully I can see you in game after install and all my account hoopla I will have to deal with. Good to see Iniquity is back on the war-path and ready to kick some major butt!
