I'm sort of in the "Veteran MMO player wants to raid again" stage myself but then I look back at all those long nights of wanting to peel away from my PC but couldn't because the "guild needs me!" Hah. Anyway. Much respect to those out there who can sustain an elite mindset for longer than 2-3 years but eventually life comes calling and 98% of us pack our things and call it a day. It's a viscous life-cycle that prays on the young adult population of our planet. Reminiscing about the "good old days" is always bittersweet for us old farts however... I miss EQ!!! Sure at the beginning of the expansions we wave our virtual wee-wee's and woo-hoo's at our server first kills and loots, but generally, most folks in our guild are as laid back as you can get.
