I just wanted to throw a quick heads up to my readers and subscribers. I will be on vacation from the 25th of October to the 1st of November! That means that there might not be new articles showing up in a timely fashion. I managed to put write one for Wednesday but as of right now (21Oct09) I haven’t written anything else. Most likely you’ll get some “best of Epic Slant” articles or some article re-runs. In any event I’m not out of the guild leadership and design blogging business, I’m just pretending that I’m 13 for a week or so.
I’m going to Disney World (but not Disney Land)! I’ll be riding rides, buying unnecessary trinkets and stumbling around Epcot during the 2009 Wine and Food Expo. If anyone else will be in the area feel free to drop me a note via comment, email or twitter. Otherwise I’ll see everyone when I return refreshed, renewed and hopefully only a little sun burned. Perhaps I’ll pitch a Disney MMO to a random costumed character! Only time will tell.

Have fun, Ferrel! My wife and I went there on our honeymoon back in June. I’d never been before and it was an awesome time. Touring the different districts is really interesting. If you’re there around sunset, stop by the Little China. They had an awesome acrobatic team when I was there. Very neat stuff. Also, if you go on the ride up in the big ball, have a camera ready. They take your picture on the way up and put it into a few little cartoons on the monitor in your cart. It’s pretty funny.
