Ferrel is a guest on SUWT

Guild Leader FerrelThis weekend Darren of Common Sense Gamer and Karen of Journeys with Jaye asked me to be a guest on their podcast Shut Up We’re Talking. I haven’t been on an MMO themed show in quite some time so I was pretty much excited all weekend long and I think everything went well. I’m pretty sure my only major error was insulting the entirety of the Eve Online player base!

The topics that were covered were skill based MMOs, characters as intellectual property, and the growth of micro-transactions in our society. There was some solid discussion and I thought each subject was covered quite well. We shared some laughs and got along wonderfully. I really encourage you to listen to the podcast and check out their archive. I want to thank Darren and Karen for having me out and my co-guest Michael for his insights.

Listened to it all today, you did fine. It was a really interesting show too. I especially liked the segment on players rights to their character. I’m on the other side of the fence on that on from ya Ferrel but I think that’s a subject for tomorrow’s blog post :-)
