You may have noticed that Epic Slant has a new header image. I’ve had to wrestle with the hard decision on whether or not to replace the existing one. Epic Slant has been through a few format changes over the lifetime of the site and never has one been as tough as this.
The original Epic Slant header was made by Dresden. He has been and will always be my partner in crime. Whenever I need a random image he answers the call without hesitation or expectation! The header he crafted was beautiful and told a tale of our MMO history. In short, it was a living legacy of where we’ve been. The unfortunate side of this, however, is that it just didn’t match the theme of the site.
After heavy reflection I decided that I would allow the banner to be replaced. I’m happy with the outcome but, at the same time, I do already miss my beloved banner. I will be keeping on the site forever. Where? I’m not sure yet but I am open to suggestions!

I think the new banner definitely fits the theme better! No doubt mine didn’t exactly look like it fit. I put alot of love into it but don’t feel bad, everything changes.
Maybe you could have a section of the site that is image-based. Could be a little nostalgia corner, or a random funny image every now and then.
BTW I like the new banner, looks professional.
You could always put it in a link for game navigation. For example, a link named Game Map and the old banner would pop up with hyperlinks on the names.
Also just a friendly suggestion you should link up the new banner as well and have the websites backlink to you for fansite and in depth posting.
