WCPI and Blogrolls

It does appear that there has been a general hush over the Warhammer blogging community lately. Not a lot of news is coming out from Mythic and not a lot of us are writing about the game. This is not exactly unexpected. Blogging, in some ways, is like the tide. It has waxing and wanes. I’ve had to flip through my blog roll frequently to see who is on a break.

I did receive an interesting email, however, from Xerb. A new attempt to bring some life into a stagnant blogosphere is in the works via a new website and blog. They are War Underground and WAAAGH Roots respectively. These sites feature internet radio and heavy community ties. I’ve always been a fan of internet radio myself. I actually was a guest on a few shows back when I lead Iniquity. That seems, however, a lifetime ago. Other interesting features will include guild promotion and an honor roll. These things should do a lot to ensure community involvement. I’d spend some time and read over the website and blog.

Another blog that I’ve been reading lately and have failed to mention is Bio Break. It has a humorous name of course but the content is anything but toilet related! The blog has solid writing and covers a large host of MMO topics. It takes a general MMO stance, like Epic Slant, and tackles more than just Warhammer. It is a good source for editorials and news. I highly recommend spending some time to read over the content.
