Changes are coming!

I’ve been looking at the Epic Slant code base a bit and I realize that I could leverage what I know now to improve upon it. This will, more or less, mean another version from start to finish. The aesthetics, however, will remain the same. The changes will be transparent to the user.

Beyond the code base I am doing some theme and content changes. I’ve moved Ferrel out to the right to make her more visible and give me more room for menus. I’d love to hear what folks think about that.

I’ve also added Twitter to the site. I’ll be sending out minimal updates about stories and ideas. If you’d like to keep up to date on everything happeneding at Epic Sant you can follow me.

Instead of keeping most of my links on my interest page I’ve added a blog roll. I’ve included the blogs I frequently read there and tried to include those that link back to me. If I missed you please don’t hesitate to contact me so I can correct the oversight. The interest page will continue and generally gives more information about the link.

I intend to push a subscription drive shortly. The “skittles” at the end of each story doesn’t seem to have the effect I’ve intended. I’ll have to put a feed button in a more user friendly location.

Thank you for all the support as of late. My daily numbers have literally tripled. I’ve even had some 2,000 new visitor spike days! All in all I’m very happy.
