Age of Blogging Week 3

In the same theme as my last few weeks I’m only posting what I actually read! This week I tried to pick up some different things from new blogs to spread the love around.

Girl IRL has a very informative post about the pros and cons of crafting in Warhammer. Regardless of whether you’re a crafter or think crafting is the root of all evil it is a good read.

Nerf ‘em All does some fuzzy math (my favorite kind) to dispel some of the “War is a failure” talk. I’ve said it before on the VN boards, Warhammer isn’t going to go away because people are upset. MMOs make a ton of money and this is a general estimate. Jeg also fails to mention those of us who paid for the collectors edition! That’s an additional $30!

Rainbow MMO asks if golbin’s can be gay. I don’t really want to know because nothing is less exciting than the idea of two small green things intertwined on the ground between scenarios but how orcs come into being in the Warhammer Universe has always been an interesting topic. From the lore I read long ago GamesWorkshop has never given a firm answer. It is suggested, however, that they start as snotlings and grow into orcs? Perhaps they do! Perhaps I’m wrong!

Reroller suggests how to fix the mail system. No, it isn’t a new blog that I haven’t covered but come on! He makes a darn good point!

The Greenskin gives us more teasing about the up and coming release of the choppa class. Get to da choppa!

War Stories asks if healers renown farming is wrong! I say it probably isn’t working as intended but honestly playing the BO rotation game isn’t that thrilling. At least in this case you’re healing!

Schlotzky sounds like a good Polish name (though it may not be). Polish or not (I am!) he presents a positive outlook on zone domination. I am inclined to agree.
